Cancellation and Refunds

Welcome to our Cancellation and Refunds Policy page. We understand that circumstances may arise that require changes to your tutoring arrangements, and we aim to provide clarity and transparency regarding our policies. Please review the following information carefully.

Information for Parents and Students

Cancellations and refunds policies help with protecting our clients, teachers and their families. For us, it is more than just words on paper but guidelines we actually follow. For more, please learn about our Payments and  Privacy Policy.

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel a scheduled tutoring session, we kindly ask for at least 1 hours' notice prior to the session start time.

  • Cancellations made within 1 hour of the scheduled session may be subject to a cancellation fee which is 100% of the rate of the cancelled session.

No-Shows

  • If a student misses a scheduled tutoring session without providing prior notice, the session will be considered a missed session.

  • Missed sessions may not be rescheduled or refunded.

Rescheduling

  • We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we are happy to accommodate requests to reschedule tutoring sessions whenever possible.

  • To reschedule a session, please contact our support team at least 1 hour before the scheduled session time.

Refunds

  • Refunds may be provided under certain circumstances, including:

    • Cancellation of services prior to the start of a tutoring pack.

    • Inability to continue tutoring due to extenuating circumstances, subject to review and approval by us.

  • Refunds are not provided for missed sessions or unused portions of prepaid tutoring packages.

Processing
refunds

  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@loomieducation.com 

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of approval.

  • Refunds will be issued using the original method of payment. Payments from Canadian institutions may take between 3-5 business days and those from the USA, UK and Australia may take between 4-7 business days.

Non-refundables

Certain fees, such as registration fees or materials fees, may be non-refundable. Please refer to your enrollment agreement or contact our support team for more information.

Policy updates

  • LOOMI reserves the right to revise, amend, or update this Cancellation and Refunds Policy at any time without prior notice.

  • Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.

Information for Teachers and Educators

Cancellations

  • If you need to cancel a scheduled tutoring session, we kindly ask for at least 3 hours notice prior to the session start time.

  • Cancellations made within 3 hours of the scheduled session may be subject to an HR review and a subsequent cancellation fine.

No-Shows

  • If a tutor misses a scheduled tutoring session without providing prior notice to the Class Manager(s) on shift, the session will be considered a no-show session.

  • No-show sessions will automatically lead to a 28-day ban from new placements.

Processing
Tickets

  • Refund requests must be submitted through our HR Management Portal (ZP)

  • Tickets, if required, must be requested within 48 hours after the session.

  • Fill-In, Feedback, Free Trials and Booking Errors will require a valid ticket.

Policy updates

  • LOOMI reserves the right to revise, amend, or update this Cancellation and Refunds Policy at any time without prior notice.

  • Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The same will also be communicated to tutors using the standard Company's channels.
