CLASS MANAGER - JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:
Class Coordination:
Manage and oversee the scheduling of online classes, ensuring that all sessions are staffed with qualified tutors.
Monitor class rosters and attendance, ensuring students and tutors are properly assigned and present.
Handle last-minute schedule changes, including rescheduling classes and arranging substitute tutors as needed.
Communication:
Serve as a primary point of contact between students, parents, and tutors, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Provide clear and timely communication regarding class schedules, changes, and important updates.
Coordinate with the support team to resolve any technical issues during live sessions.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor live classes to ensure adherence to company standards and the effective delivery of educational content.
Work closely with tutors to provide support, guidance, and professional development opportunities where needed.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate records of class attendance, tutor hours, and student progress.
Issue tickets to assist with pay rolling and payments distribution.
Assist in the distribution of instructional and learning materials to tutors and students. Manage assignments and grade reports on learning management systems
Ensure that all classes are properly documented and reported for billing, assessment and payroll purposes.
Technical Support:
Assist with setting up online classrooms and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during sessions.
Provide basic technical support to tutors and students to ensure a smooth online learning experience.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
Experience in education or online learning environments, including managing or supporting virtual classrooms.
Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is an asset.
Skills:
Technical Skills
Proficiency in using virtual learning platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, etc.).
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to online platforms.
Interpersonal and Communication Skills
Strong communication skills for coordinating with tutors, students, and parents.
Ability to mediate conflicts and handle challenging situations professionally.
Qualification:
Minimum Qualification : HND
Experience Level : Entry level
Experience Length : 1 year
Work Days -Tuesday - Saturday
Work Hours -5PM - 12AM
Salary -N100,000 - N120,000
