Our mission is to provide high-quality tutoring services that foster a love for literacy, enhance critical thinking skills, and unlock the full potential of every student, all using the Common Core Curriculum in its latest versions. LOOMI provides online tutoring for Years 1-10.

Our service level is targeted towards African kids living in the United States, looking for support in excelling at school. Since 2018, we've impacted self-independence in learning for over 300+ students. Our tutors are mostly African, with a background in Teaching or Education.

Our program is specifically designed to support African children living in the diaspora. We understand the unique challenges faced by African children as they navigate new educational environments and cultural landscapes. Our mission is to provide tailored tutoring services that address the specific needs of these students, empowering them to succeed academically and beyond.

We have unique reading tuition program for every child starting from Years K-10. We believe in laying strong foundations in phonics, decodable reading abilities, comprehension and smart thinking using evidence-based tools and researches to guide our program delivery.

Book an assessment which is completely free and can be done via our website form, email or direct phone call. Because our reading tuition program is delivered across multiple countries, we're available at various times of the day. Please check what times we're available in your country.
What we assess
Our assessments evaluate different components of reading, including fluency, vocabulary knowledge, phonemic awareness, and comprehension. We create test items that are aligned with academic standards and are age-appropriate. Our assessments are efficient and easy to administer, and we provide detailed reports on student's performance, including strengths and areas that need improvement.

Students can complete reading assessments online from the comfort of their homes . Through the combination of a digital platform and human coaching to use, making it simple for students to navigate and complete the assessments. With the collected information, our tuition team can develop targeted strategies to improve your child's reading skills and ensure success in future reading assessments.
